Artfully Composed Note Cards At Coffee & Cards

By | 17 May 2022

These Artfully Composed Note Cards were one of the designs of cards I taught at Coffee & Cards this month. I had three samples, each using a different design of the Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper [DSP] in the backgrond. Which card is your favourite?

I chose an accenting colour based on one of the non-green colours that appeared on the paper. These cards either feature Bumblebee or Calypso Coral colours. Bumblebee is unfortunately now a retired colour.

The layers behind the circle sentiment include the Vellum Layering Designs, Soft Succulent In Color Shimmer Paper, White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon and a stamped piece of cardstock. You can see most of these products on page 33 of the January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue.

Here is a close up of each of the cards:

These cards are cased from the Mini Catalogue. Do you recognise them from page 32? I prefer cards with a border around it, so my card doesn’t have the DSP going to the edge like they do, so it is a little different.

These cards were one of the cards that those who came to my Coffee & Cards class at Vero Cafe were able to make. You can check out the other card they made here. If you live in Auckland and are close to the North Shore, you are welcome to join us on the first Tuesday of the month. I have two sessions. One at 9:30 – 10:30am and then a second session at 10:40am – 11:40am. You get to make two wonderful handmade cards like these ones and you also get a hot drink. If you would like to come, please message me or check out my events on Facebook. You too can then learn how to make wonderful handmade cards like these Artfully Composed Note Cards.
