Bonus Rose Wonder Card At Class

By | 20 April 2016

The other weekend I had my monthly weekend class and we usually make two projects – two cards, or a card and a 3D project.  This time I said to the class that if they had time at the end, they would get to make an extra bonus card.  Sorry I didn’t get around to posting this card sooner.

This is the bonus card they made.  It is a simple, but stunning card.  It basically requires die-cutting the rose, adhering some of the off-cut and the die cut rose to the card base, then lastly stamping the sentiment.  This one has some Wink of Stella inside the flower.

The main reason for my use of the Wink of Stella was to try and hide some of the extra glue.  Hopefully it isn’t quite an noticeable.

Do you like the Rhinestones on the card above?  This was to cover up a mistake on the card . When stamping the sentiment I got ink from the corner of my stamp block on my card.  I was not happy.  I had to figure out a way to try and hide it.

This is the card with the ink mark on it, before I covered it up with the Rhinestones.

Did you notice the ink mark above before I mentioned it?  Would you have known if I hadn’t had told you?

Do you have situations like this sometimes too?  What do you do to hide your mistakes?

If you would like to purchase any of the products I have used, and you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would love to be your Demonstrator. You can either order online through my online store, or email me directly.  Please also check out my Loyalty Programme.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I hope you will give this simple but stunning Rose Garden Thinlit Card a go.
