If you’re ever short on inspiration, these case the catalogue card ideas are such a helpful place to start—and that’s exactly what I shared in this week’s Facebook and YouTube Live using the Beautifully Adorned Ephemera.

In this week’s live, I kept things simple and shared two versions of the same card design. Both were inspired directly from the catalogue, showing how you can take an idea and either recreate it or make a small change to suit your style.
Sometimes that’s all it takes to get your creativity flowing again.
Case the Catalogue Card Ideas for Easy Inspiration
Casing (Copy And Share Everything) is one of my favourite ways to start when I’m not quite sure what to make. The catalogue is full of beautiful designs, and it gives you a ready-made starting point.
For these cards, I followed the layout quite closely for the first version, then created a second version with a slightly different feel. Even small changes like the angle of your paper or the sentiment can make a noticeable difference.
It’s a great reminder that crafting doesn’t have to be complicated to be beautiful.
Here is the first version, just like the catalogue:

Here is the second version: I have added the white matting and put the DSP on straight rather than angled. I have also used a different sentiment:

Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Card Ideas
The Beautifully Adorned Ephemera really makes these cards come together so easily. The gold detailing on vellum adds an elegant touch without needing lots of extra work.
I also added a little bit of colour to the leaves, which helps bring the design to life while still keeping that soft, delicate look.
Just a note, this ephemera pack is now on the Last Chance list. That means it will be retiring and is only available while stocks last. If you’ve been thinking about it, now is a good time to pick it up.
