Festival of Trees With Gold Glimmer

By | 29 October 2015

Today I am sharing with you one of the Christmas cards I taught at my recent Stamp-a-Stack classes. Sorry that it has been a little while since I  have blogged some of my creations.  With several classes recently – to prepare for and hold, as well as my Nanna passing away and my family heading out of Auckland for the funeral, it has been a busy couple of weeks.

Today’s card features the Festival of Trees Bundle – Photopolymer Stamp Set and Tree Punch.

Festival of Trees Card, gold glimmer

This is a stamp set that was introduced last year and I was glad to see that it featured again in this year’s Annual Catalogue, probably because it is a popular one!  It is still one of my favourite Christmas stamps as the there are variety of tree stamps you can use, even for non-Christmas cards, and the Tree Punch makes cutting them out so easy.  I also like the two-way stamping that you can do with this stamp set.  It is easy add to a tree some tinsel or decoration in a different colour, which adds some contrast. I have also added a star punched out from Gold Glimmer Paper.  The Gold Glimmer Ribbon also adds a nice touch to the card.
