In July I sent these 2021-2023 In Color thank you cards for those who are part of my In Color Club. They feature the Flowers of Friendship stamp set.
The background is dry embossed with the Tasteful Textures 3D embossing folder. I wrapped the ribbon around the background piece before I adhered it to the card front. Then I tied an overhand knot on the front with another piece of the same ribbon.
I stamped the flowers from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set in Black StazOn ink. I used StazOn ink as it is a permanent ink. I didn’t want the ink to run if it was mixed with a Stampin’ Up! ink. I coloured the flowers with ink from the lid of the In Color ink pad using a Blender Pen.
Another way that I could have coloured the flowers would be with Stampin’ Blends. If so I would have stamped the flowers in Memento ink. Since I don’t have the Stampin’ Blends in the In Colors, I went with using the ink from the In Color ink pad instead.
The ‘You’re Absolutely Amazing’ sentiment is also from the same set. I used the Label Me Fancy punch to cut it out.
