These monochromatic Gorgeously Made cards are in all five of the 2023-2025 In Colors. The stamp set is called Gorgeously Made. These were the cards that were sent out as part of my In Color Club last month:
These cards have a watercolour background. When you create a watercolour background, you need to use cardstock suitable for this. You can use either Shimmery White cardstock (now retired) or Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I used my water painter to colour the background and, when it was dry, I stamped the words stamp randomly over the background. Some were in full strength ink, some were stamped off.
I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Layering Leaves stamp set, in the bottom right corner. I stamped the leaves image from the Gorgeously Made stamp set and stamped off next to it so it created a shadow effect.
To finish off the card, I added the 2023-2025 In Color Dots and some Linen Thread. It was adhered to a card base in the same colour as the ink I used on the card.
Here are the supplies that I used to make this card.
These cards were inspired by another card I made which was similar to this that I did at my September Coffee & Cards class. Below are samples of the cards I taught at that class. I used Very Vanilla Note Cards for the base of these cards.
These cards have a Crumb Cake watercolour background and the leaf image and sentiment are stamped in Moody Mauve ink:
Here are the cards but with the leaf image stamped in either Crumb Cake or Pecan Pie ink:
The Gorgeously Made stamp set is a very versatile stamp set and is shown below.
The Gorgeously Made die set, shown below, compliments the stamp set. I haven’t used it for the cards above, but there are lots of ways you can use both of them together.
