The Honey Bee Spinner card was one of the cards that I taught at the Auckland March Extravaganza. It was created by Heather, Michelle and Narelle.
The card features the Honey Bee stamp set and Detailed Bee dies. The hive on the front was cut from the Golden Honey Specialty Paper which was available through Sale-A-Bration until the end of March 2020.
Here is a side view of the honey bee spinner card. The bee on the small black circle spins around the white arch. This was created by cutting a half circle using the Layering Circle dies.
Another card from the Auckland March Extravaganza was the Forever Blossoms Fancy Fold card. This features the Parisians Blossoms Suite.
The card looks like a normal card on the front.
Here is what the card looks like inside. The panel at the bottom pops out when the card is opened.
As well as the pop out aspect of this fancy fold card, the stamping involved some masking. The flowers on the two small white panels were stamped first. I put a mask over the top and then stamped the leaves so it makes them look like they are behind the flower. If you don’t know how to mask, check out this post with a video showing you what to do.
I have two final Extravaganza cards to share. Come back tomorrow to see what they are!
