Tropical Oasis Pyramid Card & Beautiful Moments Pop Up Card

By | 20 April 2020

The Tropical Oasis Pyramid card and beautiful Moments Pop Up card were the two final projects that were taught at the Auckland March Extravaganza.

The Tropical Oasis Pyramid card was created by Sally Williams, Lesley Scott and Helen Wigham.

This card involved using Pigment Sprinkles to colour the flowers from the Timeless Tropical stamp set. They are a coloured powder that you mix with water to colour cardstock or images. I had only used Pigment Sprinkles once, a couple of years ago, so I had to remind myself on how to use them. They create such stunning colours.

The card folds flat to fit into a standard C6 envelope. Here is the card folded flat.

The final card from the Auckland March Extravaganza was a card created by Jacque Williams. It was the Beautiful Moments Pop Up card. She was able to design a stamp set of her choice, because she had achieved over $1,000,000 worth of sales of Stampin’ Up! product. The stamp set that she designed was the Beautiful Moments stamp set, which she used in this card.

The stamped image features a mountain in the background which looks like Auckland’s very famous Rangitoto Island. The image has been coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

The embossing folder which was used on the front and inside of the card is the Coastal Weave embossing folder. It is from the Tropical Oasis suite and is one of my favourite embossing folders from the Mini Catalogue.
