How To Stamp With Watercolor Wings

By | 8 August 2015

I love the three-step stamping technique with the Watercolor Wings stamp set.  There are lots of different colour combinations that you can create with this stamp.  Here are the creations I came up with to make yesterday’s thank you cards.

Watercolor Wings blue

First I stamped the solid background butterfly stamp.  Then with my second colour I stamped the one with the outside edge of the butterfly wings.  Finally the third stamp is the stamp with other part of the butterfly wings and with the dots.

If you are cutting out the butterfly with a die, it is best to do that next.  Then after it is cut out, stamp the body of the butterfly and you can line up in the right place.

Here are some other colour combinations I  used.

For those of you in New Zealand or Australia, please excuse the American spelling of the word “watercolor”.  The stamp set is spelt this way in the catalogue so I have spelt it this way so it is easy for you to look up for it in the catalogue or online.

If you are interested in purchasing this stamp set, it is also available in a bundle.  You get the coordinating dies and stamp set with 15% discount.  You can shop online or contact me with your order.

Thanks for stopping by.
