The Peaceful Poppies Triangle Tri-Fold Card was the project that my team and I created for the March Extravaganza. Here it is:
Extravaganza was rather different this year. A few days before the event was scheduled to take place at the Remuera Primary School Hall, we decided to cancel it being held there due to the growing concern of Covid-19. We did have less than 100 attending the event including the teachers which meant we were following the guidelines at that time if we still went ahead, but we felt it was not a wise idea to go ahead with such a large group. Instead, the teachers who wanted to could hold smaller events at their own home when it suited them.
I held a class for four of my customers at my house at the same time as the scheduled Extravaganza. I would usually hold classes with more people, but because we had been advised of physical distancing, I thought four was enough. I planned to have a class for the remaining four people the following Saturday, but after the implementation of the Level 4 Alert lockdown, that wasn’t able to happen. Before the lockdown, I delivered them their kits and then shared online videos with them a bit later showing them how to make all five of the projects.
The Peaceful Poppies Triangle Tri-Fold Card features the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. When closed, the card has a portrait orientation, as shown above. When it is opened, the front panels twist to the side and it has a landscape orientation, like shown below.
We decorated the front of the card with the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and the poppy die from the Poppy Moments dies.
The ribbon wraps around the card when it is closed, but still allows the card to stand up on its own.
Product ListI hope you liked seeing the Triangle Tri-fold card. Over the next week or so, I will share more posts about the Extravaganza creations, so please come back and check the out.
