Quick & Easy Carrot Shaped Easter Treat Bag

By | 18 March 2016

Here is a quick and easy carrot shaped Easter treat bag . All you need is a piece of orange 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper, a few small pieces of green cardstock, scissors, stapler and something you can score with.  Fringe scissors make it easier to cut the leafy part, but you can use any scissors.  This is a great little treat bag for some mini Easter eggs or other Easter treats.

Carrot shaped Easter treat bag,

If you wish you can stamp a Happy Easter sentiment on it too.  I used one from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set.  They may be small sentiments, but this stamp set has a huge variety of sentiments so you always have the sentiment you need for every occasion.

This Easter treat bag was cased from Janet Holmes.

Tip: It is best to use Designer Series Paper for this.  Cardstock is too thick and won’t fold the way you need it too without creasing or leaving marks on the card.  If you don’t have the Designer Series Paper in the colour you need, but you have some Neutrals Envelope Paper, sponge or stamp this in orange to create a background you like.

Supplies:

Stamp sets: Teeny Tiny Sentiments clear or wood

Ink: Garden Green

Paper & Cardstock: Color Collections Designer Series Paper – Brights

Other: Tear & Tape, Fringe Scissors, Handheld Stapler, Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Stampin Trimmer

I have made a video showing you how to make this.  Come back tomorrow and I will share the video with you.   Then you too can make these quick and easy Easter treat bags.  Come back next week I have some other Easter treat ideas to share with you.
