This simple Art Gallery Flower card was one of the make ‘n takes at my Open Home Event over the weekend for the new January – June 2021 Mini Catalogue.

The flower involves two step stamping which gives it a textured look. I first stamped the more solid flower in Daffodil Delight ink and then the less detailed flower in Bumblebee ink. The stem and leaves were stamped in Old Olive ink. I cut them out with the coordinating Floral Gallery dies.

The “Happy Birthday” sentiment is from the same Art Gallery stamp set. There is a variety of sentiments with this stamp set. It includes “I MISS YOU”, “Congratulations”, “good luck!”, “SORRY”, “thank you”, “Best Wishes”, “You Are Lovely” and “I’m thinking of you”. So there is a sentiment for almost every occasion! There are two different sized dies to cut them out with. There is a short one and a long one so that you can use the best one to fit your chosen sentiment.

The background of the card is a piece of Pool Party cardstock which has been texture embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. This has been adhered to a slightly bigger piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock. The card base is Thick Whisper White, which has now been replaced by Thick Basic White.

I adhered the stem and leaves directly onto the textured Pool Party piece with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The flower and sentiment were adhered with Mini Dimensionals.

To finish off the lovely simple Art Gallery Flower card, I added three Basic Pearl Jewels.

Tomorrow I will share the other make ‘n take card from my Open Home Event. I hope you will come back to take a look.
