This Spring Fold Card was one of the cards taught at the Auckland March Extravaganza. It features the lovely papers and embellishments from the Love You Always Suite. It was taught by Heather, Michelle, and Judith.
The lovely background paper is the Love You Always Specialty Foil Paper, which looks quite striking against the black background. The flower on the foreground of the card is cut from the True Love Designer Series Paper and it has been slightly coloured with the new Blending Brushes. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, which is one of my go to stamp sets for a range of sentiments.
Three Matte Black Dots and a Heart Charm were added to complete the card. These are also part of the Love You Always Suite.
Here is the back of the card – the special folds help it to stand up when open.
The other great feature of this card is that it can fold into a flat square shape. The standard Stampin’ Up! envelopes don’t fit a square card, so at the event they made a black envelope for it to go into.
