The summer Christmas card with the Sunkissed stamp set is the card that Sylvia Patterson and I taught at the Auckland Extravaganza event earlier this month. We wanted a card to depict our summer Christmas here in New Zealand, so Sylvia came up with this wonderful creation.
The beach scene with the deck chairs, umbrella and shells are from the Sunkissed stamp set. They were stamped in Saddle Brown StazOn ink. We then masked a circle in the top right of the stamped piece and used a Blending Brush with Mango Melody ink to create a sun. We sponged in Sahara Sand ink around the sand area too. We placed a piece of Vellum on top to give it a softer look.
The branch is cut from the Decorated With Happiness dies. The background has been stamped in Parakeet Party ink and an Evening Evergreen die-cut leaf piece was layered over the top. The sparkle of the red rhinestones add to the look of the branch.
The card also has more sparkle with the Tahitian Tide Glimmer Paper. There is a strip of the Glimmer Paper along the left-side of the card as well as on the background of the baubles which has been paired with the Gold Distressed Paper.
The sentiment has been stamped and cut out with a small circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies.

Overall, all of this creates a wonderful Christmas summer look for a lovely Christmas summer card.
