What are the differences between the two types of card kits?
First type: Kits with Pre-Printed Sentiments:
The first is a kit with pre-printed sentiments. This kit does not include a stamp set, ink spot or block, so this makes the kit cheaper. It is usually less than $30. Some examples of these are the Saying Thanks Kit, Blossom Wishes Kit, Notes of Cheer Kit, etc,
Second type: Kits with Stamp Sets, Ink Spots and a Block:
Card kits usually have a stamp set, ink spot and ink block as part of the kit, so they cost a little more. They are usually around $40-$50. This means you can use the sentiments or images from these stamps to create your own cards once you have made the cards from the kit. An example of some of these kits are the Sentimental Rose kit, For the Guys kit, Forever Friends kit, etc.
The Sentimental Rose card kit is a great example of being able to keep using the stamps from the kit once you have made the cards from the kit. The sentiments in this set are Happy Birthday, For You, Best Wishes, Thinking of You, Thank You, Happy Mother’s Day and Congratulations. Plus there is a lovely large flower stamp and a leaf stamp.
A card kit with some great masculine stamps in it is the For the Guys card kit. The sentiments include Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary and Happy Father’s Day.
