Thursday’s Tip: Two Different Types Of Stampin’ Up Stamps

By | 26 March 2020

There are two different types of Stampin’ Up stamps. They are cling rubber and photopolymer.

Stampin' Up Stamps

The classic rubber stamps have a highly adhesive label which you attach to the back of the stamp when you purchase them. This allows you to know what is on the stamp. As they are rubber, you can’t see through them, but they are high quality. Some have a lot of detail on them, like distinktive stamps, which make for amazing stamped images.

The photopolymer stamps are transparent so you can see exactly where you need to stamp.

To use the stamps, you need blocks to mount them on. There are a variety of sizes of blocks. It is best to get a block that is similar in size to the stamp.

Below is some more information about the stamps and a video too:

The clear stamps are know as photopolymer. This is a term use due to the material they use to make the clear stamps.
