The Truly Tailored Suite is great for masculine cards. Here is a masculine banner note card featuring the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper [DSP].
The colours featured in the True Gentleman DSP are Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla.
Here is a slight variation on the card.
For this card I have used the ‘Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set. I really like the size and font of this stamp and find I use it often, along with the Thank You stamp from this set too. After stamping the “Happy Birthday”, I cut it out with the Tailored Tag Punch and then sponged the edges to define the shape a little more. You will also see some Linen Thread behind the sentiment. This was adhered with Tear & Tape Adhesive and then the sentiment was adhered with Dimensionals.
This was one of the cards that the ladies who came to my Coffee & Cards class this month made. The Coffee & Cards class is an event I hold monthly at a local cafe on the North Shore.
