Wishing you a Happy New Year, 2022!
2021 certainly had its challenges with several lockdowns including a long one which started on 17 August and was several months long. It meant working from home for my husband and I. For the kids it meant distant learning for school.
High school students went back to school in early November, but my younger daughter and I didn’t return to school until around 17th November and this was only part-time school and staying within our bubbles.
As well as restrictions at school there were many other restrictions in place elsewhere too, including the limits on the number of people allowed to meet together outside and inside, masks to be worn etc.
On 2nd December we moved to a traffic light system and that meant after over three months of no in-person classes, on Tuesday 5th December we could get together for Coffee & Cards at Vero Café. It was so nice to get back together and meet in person again. Here are the two cards they ladies made who came to Coffee & Cards.
So now it is 2022. Let’s hope that this year is doesn’t have the lockdowns like last year and the in-person classes can continue. I will update my card classes calendar soon, so keep an eye on it here.
