Fancy Fold Centre Step Card With The In Good Taste Suite

By | 19 August 2020

This fancy fold centre step card features the In Good Taste suite.  I taught it at my Thursday morning class in July.  At our July Extravaganza, one of the projects was a centre step card using the Playful Pets suite. This inspired me to make this card, but with a different suite. The project at the Extravaganza had imperial measurements, but I converted the measurements of this card to metric.

There are a few special folds and cuts to make this card, but once you know how to do them and you have the right sized pieces of cardstock and Designer Series Paper (DSP)/patterned paper, it is fairly easy to put together.

The patterned paper used on this card is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

The textured Rococo Rose cardstock piece on the bottom front is created with the Old World Embossing 3D Folder and some Whisper White craft ink.

The flower from the Tasteful Touches stamp set, is stamped in Memento black ink and coloured with Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends. There is no die for the flower, so I fussy cut it out with Paper Snips.

It is adhered to a Stitched Shaped die cut circle which has been stamped with the leaves from the same stamp set. This was then adhered to a slightly larger scalloped circle.

This card also folds flat to fit into an envelope, which makes it easy to send to someone.
