The Jar of Flowers – Sunflower Shaker Card was one of the cards I taught at my monthly card class last week.
The Mason Shaker Jar Domes are used to create a 3D jar for the sunflowers to sit in. I have also placed some green and white gems inside of the dome so that when the card is shaken, they move around. They are the Flowers for Every Season Gems.
The textured background behind the flower bouquet is created with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. The sunflowers have been stamped in Memento Black ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I used the Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends. I then fussy cut the bouquet of flowers out and adhered it with Dimensionals.
The banner is created with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. This is one of my favourite sentiment punches at the moment.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Posted With Love stamp set. The sentiment is nicely sized and works well with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.
The Old Olive background piece was texture embossed with the Old World 3D embossing folder. I had also wondered about leaving this piece out. You can see what the card looks like without it here:
